Knox Boarders in Years 10 and 11 attended the inaugural OKGA Boarding Dinner, with guest speaker, Jamie Thomson (OKG86) on 30 October. 

Jamie, a former boarder and grandson of the late Jim Thomson (OKG31), the first student enrolled at Knox, was interviewed about his time at the School as well as his career and life lessons. Jamie's responses were authentic, relevant to the young men and full of pearls of wisdom. 

After the Q&A session, the boys were keen to continue the conversation with Jamie and OKGA President, Paul Gladigau (OKG85), to highlight the points of connection between themselves and the Old Boys. 

 Reflecting on the evening, Jamie said: "It was terrific to walk in the shoes of the boys again, sitting around the dinner table and lining up for meals bought back fond memories." 

We look forward to continuing this new initiative in collaboration with Knox Boarding in 2026.
