Former Knox swim captain, Joshua Collett, has been selected to represent Australia as part of the Australian Dolphins team. Joshua will compete at the World Short Course Championships in Budapest in December, after qualifying in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke, as well as the 100m and 200m Individual Medleys (IM).

Joshua secured his selection in the Dolphins squad of 24 after winning the Men's 100m IM at the Australian Short Course Swimming Championships in Adelaide with a time of 52.68 seconds, the eighth fastest time by an Australian.

Since graduating from Knox, Joshua has been training and studying Biomedical Science at Bond University on a scholarship, pursuing his passion for swimming, while also focusing on his academic goals.

Joshua's father, Darren Collett (OKG86) said: "we are incredibly proud of Joshua's achievements and are sure the entire OKG community will join us in celebrating this milestone."
