More than 380 Senior Students were welcomed as our newest Old Boys this week. In the lead up to the Centenary Year 12 Valedictory Ceremony held on Monday, 23 September, the Class of 2024 were introduced to the OKGA by President Rob Johnson (OKG78), and to the Old Boys for Old Boys Program by former School Captain, Angus Wines (OKG23), while Al Colyer (OKG15) and Jason Park (OKG18) encouraged the young men to join one of the OKGA's Affiliated Clubs. In a separate year meeting, brothers Tom Goddard (OKG21) and Will Goddard (OKG23) shared tips for post-School life, reflecting on their personal experience outside the school gates. Dougal Cole (OKG77), who retired from teaching at Knox Prep in 2020, was invited back to the Prep last week to see the soon-to-be Knox graduates from his Year 6 Class of 2018. "What a terrific group of boys (young men now!)," Dougal said. "I am privileged to have been their teacher." Matt Dunn OAM (OKG91) delivered the School Council's Vote of Thanks at the Valedictory Ceremony on Monday, before joining seven fellow Old Boys to present OKGA ties to the Class of 2024 as they left The Great Hall.
